Google Play closed testing is a mandatory step for new Android apps. Before Google approves an app for public release, developers must demonstrate that real users have tested it.

Install our monitoring script on at least one Linux server. Copy one command, paste it into your terminal, done.
Get App Access
Within 24 hours, we add your email to Google Play's closed testing group. You'll receive an email with a direct link.
Install the App
Download Monitorio from Google Play using the link we provide. Log in with your Monitorio account credentials.
Use the App
Keep the app installed and use it to check your servers until the testing period ends. You'll be notified when testing is complete.
Get Your Reward
After the testing period ends, we verify your participation and upgrade your account to Premium for one full year.

Your email is used for two purposes only: your Monitorio account and Google Play closed testing access. We don't sell emails or send spam.
How long do I need to test the app?
The testing period lasts until we have enough data for Google Play approval. You'll be notified by email when the testing is complete. During this time, keep the app installed and use it occasionally to check your servers.
What counts as "using" the app?
Normal usage - opening the app to check your servers, receiving and viewing push notifications, looking at graphs. We're not asking you to do anything artificial. Just use it as you would any monitoring app.
What do testers receive as a reward?
One full year of Monitorio Premium subscription, which includes monitoring for up to 30 servers, 1-minute check intervals, 12 months of data retention, and priority support.
Is the mobile app available for iOS?
Not yet. We're launching with Android first because Google Play requires closed testing before approval. iOS version is planned for later.
What if I don't have a server to monitor?
Any Linux server works. A $5/month VPS from DigitalOcean, Linode, or Hetzner is enough. A Raspberry Pi running at home works too. You can also monitor website URLs without installing anything on a server.
How much does testing cost?
Nothing. Participation in the testing program is completely free, and you receive Premium as a reward.
Can I participate if I'm already a Monitorio user?
Yes! Existing users are welcome to join the testing program. Just let us know you want to participate.
What kind of feedback are you looking for?
Everything - app crashes, confusing interface elements, missing features, things that annoy you, things that work well. We want honest feedback, not praise.
What happens when testing ends?
You'll receive an email notification when the testing period is complete. We then verify your participation and upgrade your Monitorio account to Premium for one year.
How do I report bugs or feedback?
You can email us directly at support@monitorio.eu or use the feedback option in the app. We read everything.
What if I find a critical bug?
Report it immediately! Critical bug discoveries may earn you additional rewards or extended Premium.
When does my free Premium year start?
Your Premium year starts after the testing period ends and we've verified your participation.
How many testers do you need?
We're looking for exactly 20 testers. Once all spots are filled, we close the testing program.
What if I miss the testing program?
You'll need to wait for public release on Google Play. The app will still be available, but you won't receive the free Premium year.

Monitorio started as an internal tool built out of frustration with existing monitoring solutions. Everything was either too complex, too expensive, or required a weekend to set up properly.
